How To Get Rid of Cooking Smells

Boil a little white vinegar in a saucepan with a few cloves for a few minutes and hey presto, smelly fish, curry or burnt food has gone.

How to Clean your Saucepans easily

Pour a little cheap cola in the burnt saucepan and boil, take off heat and leave for a few minutes.  Clean as normal and you will find it really easy.

Descaling Your Kettle

Fill your kettle with water and place in it a lemon cut into chunks.  Boil and leave to stand over night.  Rinse out the next morning and enjoy your lime scale free kettle once more.

How to Clean your Microwave quickly and easily

Fill a mug with a mix of water and lemon juice and place in your microwave.  Put on high for a few minutes.  Now using a damp cloth wipe inside your microwave and all the stuck on food will easily wipe away.

Cleaning your Glass Oven Door and Hob

Mix a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water and rub on these areas.  Leave for 15 minutes and then scrub off with ease.

Homemade Furniture Polish

Mix a little olive oil with lemon juice and use in small amounts with a clean dry micro fibre cloth to buff your wooden furniture.

Spruce up your carpets, rugs and lounge suite

Sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda and vacuum up.
