Here’s How:

Remove the Food

Throw out any food that is looking or smelling bad. Take the food that is still fine and put it in an ice box/bag while you are cleaning the fridge.

Remove Shelves and compartments

Take out all removable shelves and compartments and wash in warm soapy water and leave to dry.

Wipe Down Refrigerator Interior

Using a clean cloth and warm soapy water, wipe down your fridge from top to bottom, using a non-abrasive scourer for tough stuck on food. Wipe down with clean warm water and then dry off.  Use a toothbrush for all those little crevices.

Replace the Food

Put the food back into the refrigerator. Now is also a good time to wipe off any jars or containers of food that may need it, such as a sticky jam jar or a crusty mayonnaise lid. Make sure you use clean cloths when working with your food jars and dry them well after.

Clean Out the Freezer

Clean out your freezer in the same way, defrosting it prior to cleaning by placing bowls of hot water inside to loosen the ice and scrape away.
