Cleaning Your Hob
Ceramic Hob
Do not use anything abrasive as you will scratch the surface. Use a plastic scraper to get off burnt on food and then use a regular kitchen cleaner to wipe over. Dry off with a clean microfibre cloth.
Gas Hob
Put the pot stands through your dishwasher or if you don’t have one, soak in biological washing powder mixed with hot water for an hour or so. Scrub the burners with bicarbonate of soda by mixing some with warm water to make a paste. Use a regular kitchen cleaner on the rest and finish off with a dry microfibre cloth.
If you clean your hob after every use, it is an easy quick job, leave it and leave it and it becomes an arduous cleaning job.
