Here are some cleaners to use around your home using lemon or limes or both, it’s up to you, both work really well and of course both produce a lovely citrus smell.
Disinfectant Spray
A cup of water mixed with a cup of white vinegar and the juice of half a lemon/lime, put it in a spray bottle and shake. For added smell add a few drops of essential oil such as lemon, eucalyptus, ylang ylang or geranium. You can use one more, just depends what smell you want.
Copper Pot/Pot Cleaner
Make a paste of lemon/lime juice and salt and use to scrub your copper pots. When clean, rinse and dry. You will find this a very effective way to clean your pots, especially the ones with baked on food.
All Purpose Cleaner
Mix together a cup of warm water, cup of white vinegar, half a cup of lemon/lime juice and a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Pour into a spray bottle and getting spraying and cleaning.
Multi Surface Cleaner
Mix together 3 cups of water, 1/2 cup of peroxide and a cup of lemon/lime juice. Pour into a spray bottle and enjoying cleaning.
Citrus Infused Vinegar For a Great Cleaner Around The Home
Into a large jar put peel from all your citrus fruit (Orange, Lemon, Lime Satsuma, Grapefruit, Clementine, etc). Fill it half full with the peels then pour in white wine vinegar and fill to the top. Put a lid on a leave to infuse for a couple of weeks. It is then ready to use, can be mixed with some water for a weaker solution. Whatever, is a great all round cleaning solution for your home and cuts through grease and grime easily. You can use apple cider vinegar for your hair and skin.
