Lists
Make lists for all sorts of things, such as a Christmas card list, present list, things to do list, shopping list, etc. It makes life so much easier.
De Clutter
Have a good clear out beforehand and donate anything to charity that you can and take the rest to the tip.
Make the Front Entrance Welcoming
Give this area a good spruce up. Put some fresh flowers somewhere and maybe some candles and perhaps a bowl of pot pourri. Don’t forget all visitors will come into your home from here and first impressions count.
Pay attention to the Dining Room
A very important room if your guests are eating here. Give it a good clean, open up the windows beforehand and let some fresh air in. Put some Christmas decs around and some lovely smelling candles.
Blitz the Bathrooms
Very important to give your bathrooms a thorough clean before any guests arrive as they will certainly get well used over the Christmas period.
Get Wrapped
Wrap and tag present as you buy them that way you won’t have that last minute panic and it will give you time to do those last minute things that you have forgotten to do. May be because you forgot to put it on your very important to do list!
