How to Clean your House over a Month for 20 Minutes a Day

Tips and Tricks

Dealing with what comes through the door
Put a basket or something similar near the front door so that you can put in it anything that comes through the door to deal with when you have time.  This is neat and tidy and makes it easier when you get around to sorting it.

Do the Dishes after every Meal
Don’t let the dishes pile up, it looks so messy and gets out of control.  The kitchen is easier to keep clean too.

Put rubbish in your bins regular
Same goes for your rubbish, bin it straight away and take your inside bins to the outside ones on a regular basis.

Washing
Do your washing on a regular basis and don’t let it pile up, it becomes a bigger chore if you do and iron it on the same day if you have time, so it’s not hanging around.

Cleaning with your Favourite Tunes
Turn the music up!  It’s much more fun cleaning to your favourite songs.  Sing along to them and make cleaning less of a chore.

Set a Timer
Set a timer when you are doing your 20 minute cleaning stint for 10 minutes, so that you know when you are half way through.  It’s so easy to get distracted and lose track of time.
